Our company regularly transports dangerous goods such as flammable materials (solids, liquids and gases), corrosive substances, toxic and bio-hazardous materials, explosives, compressed and liquefied gases, magnetizing substances and radioactive materials.

In order to ensure safe and proper shipping of dangerous goods and highly sensitive cargo, C.A.L. personnel (ground and air crews) undergo ICAO and IATA training for hazardous materials handling which includes required regulations regarding hazardous materials transportation paperwork. 

The hazardous materials (HazMat) shipping crew accompanies our clients and the cargo at every stage of the shipping in order to make sure that the cargo is appropriately registered and handled according to regulations and that the documentation is in order.

All the shipping agents C.A.L. works with (Mamman in Israel, Lachs in Belgium and Lufthansa in New York), as well as the company’s overseas storehouses, Swissport International, are required to operate in accordance with the strictest hazmat regulations in order to guarantee proper handling of dangerous goods shipments.

Hazardous materials are stored separately at an appropriate location, equipped with fire-extinguishers and other means of leakage and contamination prevention. Our strict safety policy is designed to prevent harm to human life, property and the environment.
