We handle various types of live animals‘ transportation, from regular shipments of horses, calves and bulls, the occasional shipment of day-old chicks, to the more rare shipments of such animals as dolphins, snakes, alpacas, dogs and tropical fish, exotic birds and even elephants.

C.A.L. personnel are proficient in IATA regulations and handling of animals, constantly maintaining close cooperation with the Veterinary Authorities and Plant Protection Authorities in Israel and abroad, while continuously being updated on the regulatory requirements of the countries where we operate. 

In case of flights operating "off line" or to new airports, and  in order to ensure best possible service, C.A.L. sends in a vanguard prior to the scheduled flight date in order to make sure that the airport is set for the arrival and loading of animals onto the cargo aircraft in the shortest possible time.

Our inhouse experts, specializing in shipping of animals, accompany the client every step of the way – from the issuance of the airway bill (AWB) until the arrival at the destination.

C.A.L. exercises great care in adjusting the shipping conditions to optimally suit the transported animals. The company utilizes the best of modern equipment keeping it well maintained and sterilized at all times.

Due to the sensitivity of the animals when shipped, the schedule is adjusted to accommodate these special shipments. The temperature is regulated in order to prevent the heat emitted by the animals from affecting the shipping conditions, while the specific restrictions of the client’s schedule are taken into consideration, and a cargo aircraft is unloaded within 3 hours of landing.
